Gus Jasangas

My name is Gus Jasangas, born and raised in the Beautiful Tropical Islands of Guam and Saipan in the Mariana Islands in Micronesia,

I was introduced to photography by my mother who taught me to capture beautiful images of her Royal Orchid Collections at age 9 using Polaroid Instamatic Camera. Since then my hobby developed into a passion and into a career. In 2005 I was awarded by Hasselblad "Top 100 Photographer" out of 2700 photographers. I've photographed for Publications in Guam, Saipan and Japan. In 2007 I relocated to Texas where I managed Portrait Studios for LifeTouch and Sears, and in 2009 I was relocated to Florida where I managed 5 Portrait Studios in the States of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia for 2 years, and trained Studio Photographers on Portrait techniques. Today I reside in Las Vegas, where I truly enjoy the atmosphere and the surrounding border states where I find photography very inspirational.
