Animal Rescues have great opportunities to use Snapped4U for fundraising. Pet-owner shots taken at adoptathons, reunions, and other events are much appreciated! People often take photos of their pets, but forget to get photos with their pets.
Large Youth Groups like bands, choirs, athletic teams, church groups, sororities, fraternities, and other active organizations can ask photographers among their members to take photos of the entire season or just special events. As new galleries are posted, they can be announced at meetings, in the newsletter, and on the website and Facebook page. Events to consider:
- Homecoming, Playoff, and Championship games are season highlights that make great photo ops.
- If there's a water-proof camera available, photos from a fundraising car wash can be sold to add to the car-washing revenue.
- The sale of photos from Greek Week or rush can go straight to the chapter's favorite philanthropy.
- Church camp photos might be sold to raise money for new choir robes.
- Photos from the 5-year class reunion might be sold to begin fundraising for the 10-year reunion.
Charitable Organizations planning a gala or luncheon can ask a volunteer photographer to get photos of the guests. The photographer can explain that the sale of the photos at Snapped4U will benefit the cause. Better yet, the photos can included in advance publicity in the newsletter and in the program, and also posted on the website and Facebook page.
Groups with young children can feel comfortable knowing the photos can be kept private with our password-protection option. A preschool might ask a parent to chronicle the next class outing and post the photos at Snapped4U. Parents not along for the event will appreciate the chance to buy the photos, and the sales can help fund the next class trip.
Photographers - Boost your business with some good PR by volunteering to photograph charitable events. The time commitment is minimized by using Snapped4U, but that doesn't lessen the good feeling of knowing your photos have helped your favorite charity and possibly helped your business, too!
